Smart, independent and forward-thinking, Jones is shaping the future of Omaha through her work with INROADS and as a new homeowner in Midtown’s Park Avenue neighborhood.
Born in Minnesota, but raised in North Omaha, Jones lived most of her life in the metropolitan area. She graduated from Central High School and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in Management Information Systems. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in business administration at UNO.
As a client manager for INROADS, Ashira matches talented, diverse college students who have an interest in growing career paths, including business, nursing and information technology, with internship opportunities in Omaha, St. Louis and Kansas City.
Excited about its potential, Jones invested in the Park Avenue area with the purchase of a newly renovated historic condominium. She likes the unique nature and neighborhood feel of the Park Avenue area and its proximity to her workplace. She also looks forward to the opening of Midtown Crossing at Turner Park.
Jones also feels the Field Club Trail, a scenic trail that runs from 40th and Leavenworth streets on the north, to 35th and Vinton streets on the south, and the Avanza Supermarket, a supermarket that sells quality Mexican food products at reasonable prices located at 2900 Leavenworth St., contribute to the flourishing Park Avenue neighborhood.
